HED’s research methods produce a steady stream of trades, as published in the ‘HEDlines’ section of this site along with market commentary and other remarks. These trades are used as the basis for the HED program, with the addition of some entry and exit rules and basic risk discipline.
The program aims to catch market moves at the medium and short-term time frames. Trades last for an average of a few days, with the longest holding period being about six weeks and the shortest being less than a day. Each trade comes complete with a stop-loss, a ‘time-out’ and some profit-taking instructions.
